MOX Minute

There are no more Ultras left in 2013, but thankfully somewhere an angel – presumably wearing neon and high top wedgie sneakers- answered my prayers. I will still very much be in the EDM world by giving you up to date news on what’s going on in dance music. MOX has hired me as one of their nouveau VJ correspondents. By nouveau, I mean our set is a DJ booth and we get to TP the place on our first day of work. Or maybe that’s just what I do.

There’s method to the madness. I swear.

Brand New Demo Reel Premieres!

This past year has been a wild ride. I am officially Gold Status on both American and Delta Airlines, thanks to all my travels for UMF TV. I freshened up on mi espanol in Buenos Aires shooting for MTV. I fully embraced my inner geek (well, it’s not so inner) working at SyFy. Oh, and I got up close and personal with the fiercest people on this planet, the bull riders of the PBR, with Clash of the Cowboys. I’ve met so many interesting people and been to so many far away places that it’s still hard to grasp this is my job. How strange show business is… especially to my Midwestern family.

Luckily, all these adventures are caught on tape– also known as my brand new demo reel! Check it out!

Music vs Sports

It was double duty this week for me at AOL On and Huffington Post. I usually bring the entertainment and music news to my online friends, but this time around I filled in for Crystal Marie- who also happens to be my roomie- to bring the dudes their sports news on The Fumble. Yes, that’s one of the benefits of having a roommate who works at the same place as you; when you need a replacement, all you have to do is knock on the next door over.

I must say, I had a lot of fun switching between the two as it really brought together my two loves. Outside of my videos for AOL, I usually find myself in the sports world for Bleacher Report and CBS Sports. And, of course, I am living and breathing (dance) music all over the world with ULTRA and MTV. See, I even bring the high top wedge sneakers to the studio.

So, which do you like better? The music or sports stories?
