Big congrats to Taylor Swift for winning Best Music Video at the 2016 Grammy Awards… but have you seen MY Bad Blood video? I mean, 16 million views and counting can’t be wrong! Clearly, the Grammys have not, or else the Barely Productions crew and I would be on that stage accepting the award. I’m just kidding Taylor. No one can beat you. Please forgive all my parody videos where I play you. Can I be part of your Squad?
It’s a New Year and now it’s a New YouTube channel! Well, kind of.. Welcome to How 2 Travelers 2.0! I’m so excited to finally put up the brand new banner, icon, and moving graphics on my How 2 Travelers YouTube channel.
This is such a big moment for me as a Content Creator. Last year was a whirlwind year: I starred in my own travel 
show on HLN called Vacation Chasers, I pulled double duty as Host and Senior Producer at The QYOU, and I tripled my social media outreach to over 300,000 people! This is in large part thanks to years of hard work on YouTube, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to give you guys beautiful new graphics to look at when you tune in.
Travel has been my passion- and my identity- since I was a teenager. It’s also one of the hardest genres to book as a host and producer. This is why YouTube is such a gift, because it allows those with the drive, skill, and determination to show the world what we can do! After years of creating content on my own, I teamed up with Rachel Rudwall and re-named my channel as How 2 Travelers. It has been such a success! We put together over 100 episodes and were plucked up from YouTube to star HLN’s Vacation Chasers. Now, due to these successes, Rachel has chosen to delve deeper into off YouTube opportunities (Go Rach!) and I wish her the best of luck. My exclusive interview with Dash Berlin front man Jeffrey Sutorius is officially live on Ultra Music Festival’s YouTube channel UMFTV! During Ultra Europe last year, Jeffrey and I spent an afternoon in the beautiful city of Split, Croatia to talk all things music- from his goosebump-inducing Ultra Miami set to his worldwide schedule to what keeps him grounded in the crazy DJ world. 
And grounded Jeffrey is, because what you don’t see in the interview is that during our little walk through Split, he bought me a few keepsake magnets! Jeffrey said this is his go-to souvenir when traveling the world, but since he is such an avid traveler, he’s super picky about what magnets he picks up– or else he’d have to buy more refrigerators. That’s what I like to call #DJProblems.

Dash Berlin is a Dutch trance music project created in 2007 by Jeffrey Sutorius, Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn. Dash Berlin’s breakthrough came that same year with “Till the Sky Falls Down”, which shot to the top of the Trance charts worldwide. Dash Berlin won the IDMA award for “Best High Energy Track” for “Waiting”. In 2010, Dash Berlin won the award for Highest New Entry by entering the DJ Mag Top 100 at number 15, beating out other famous Dutch DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, and Ferry Corsten as the highest Dutch entry. Since then, Dash Berlin has consistently held a spot as one of the Top 15 DJ’s in the world, according to DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll.

Oh what joy it is to play both Ke$ha and Taylor Swift!
This was the perfect way to end the crazy, wild ride that has been 2015. 
After a full day of hosting at The QYOU, I jumped on a red eye to NYC, got into a taxi, and made my way to the YouTube Space right above the bustling Chelsea Market, where I was immediately thrown into hair and makeup for Ke$ha…It took all of five minutes. 
Now, normally, rocking up to a shoot after being on a plane for six hours isn’t the best look, but apparently that’s exactly what they were going for! Yeah, a part of me was like, “Come on guys- please tell me I don’t look THAT crazy when I get off a plane!” Apparently I do. #WavyHairDontCare
After pretending to be drunk for the morning as Ke$ha, I switched into full Taylor Swift mode. And by switched, I mean I became completely innocent and naive. This meant it took at least 10 takes to figure out how to properly flip someone off. I’m not joking. To the right is the photographic proof of my innocence (I’m the one in the blonde wig). I believe this “lapse in judgement” was really a Christmas present to my parents, because after all the crazy videos I’ve put my family through, at least they’d be proud to know I haven’t mastered the art of flipping someone off… yet! Then I showed everyone what these guns were made of by hoisting up the amazing Mark Douglas for way too long- and voila!- the perfect Christmas anthem and photo thumbnail!

I love Japan. Not only is it a great place to visit, but the amount of weird stuff that I can film is endless. See Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C… you get the point!
I’ve been a little sleep deprived this year thanks to a n
on-stop work schedule of Vacation Chasers, The QYOU, and hosting the Ultra Music Festivals worldwide- on top of doing my YouTube channel! So, when I had a massive nine hour layover in Tokyo after my already massive nine hour red eye flight from Bali- and BEFORE my 12 hour flight to LAX, I decided to test out Tokyo Narita’s 9 hour Capsule Hotel. And no, not just because nine seemed to be a theme for me that day!
I won’t give away too much- you have to watch the video– but let’s just say they need to make this available at ALL international airports. Just look at my before and after pic! The only recommendation I have is for the pod/capsule hotel to be more conveniently located next to the airport. It was extremely complicated to get to the hotel. I had to take an airport bus AND walk through the subway station to get to the hotel. Yes, you read that right- I had to walk through a subway station. It was weird. But then again, Japan is weird (to me), so, following that logic, it kind of makes sense. Hope you enjoy the video!
