Big congrats to Taylor Swift for winning Best Music Video at the 2016 Grammy Awards… but have you seen MY Bad Blood video? I mean, 16 million views and counting can’t be wrong! Clearly, the Grammys have not, or else the Barely Productions crew and I would be on that stage accepting the award. I’m just kidding Taylor. No one can beat you. Please forgive all my parody videos where I play you. Can I be part of your Squad?

Oh what joy it is to play both Ke$ha and Taylor Swift!
This was the perfect way to end the crazy, wild ride that has been 2015. 
After a full day of hosting at The QYOU, I jumped on a red eye to NYC, got into a taxi, and made my way to the YouTube Space right above the bustling Chelsea Market, where I was immediately thrown into hair and makeup for Ke$ha…It took all of five minutes. 
Now, normally, rocking up to a shoot after being on a plane for six hours isn’t the best look, but apparently that’s exactly what they were going for! Yeah, a part of me was like, “Come on guys- please tell me I don’t look THAT crazy when I get off a plane!” Apparently I do. #WavyHairDontCare
After pretending to be drunk for the morning as Ke$ha, I switched into full Taylor Swift mode. And by switched, I mean I became completely innocent and naive. This meant it took at least 10 takes to figure out how to properly flip someone off. I’m not joking. To the right is the photographic proof of my innocence (I’m the one in the blonde wig). I believe this “lapse in judgement” was really a Christmas present to my parents, because after all the crazy videos I’ve put my family through, at least they’d be proud to know I haven’t mastered the art of flipping someone off… yet! Then I showed everyone what these guns were made of by hoisting up the amazing Mark Douglas for way too long- and voila!- the perfect Christmas anthem and photo thumbnail!

T Swift 2.0 is back!!
The masterminds at Barely Political/Key of Awesome brought me in to take on the impossible: parody a video that’s already a parody. Yep, we took on Taylor Swift’s massive hit Shake It Off, and the results are above.
I flew into NYC and we hit the ground running. The other Taylor Swift video I did for Barely Political is actually my favorite parody, probably due to the whole acting-like-a-complete-lunatic-and-it-being-socially-acceptable thing, so I was really excited to take another crack at our version of the T Swift character.
Memorable moments from the shoot included being the last one to the boat on the hot dog legs things (had noooo idea, but now that I know, wow!), I cannot smack someone on the face- even if it’s a fake slap (ahhh!), and peeking at people’s camel toes is really tough on the knees and elbows.

It was double duty this week for me at AOL On and Huffington Post. I usually bring the entertainment and music news to my online friends, but this time around I filled in for Crystal Marie- who also happens to be my roomie- to bring the dudes their sports news on The Fumble. Yes, that’s one of the benefits of having a roommate who works at the same place as you; when you need a replacement, all you have to do is knock on the next door over.
I must say, I had a lot of fun switching between the two as it really brought together my two loves. Outside of my videos for AOL, I usually find myself in the sports world for Bleacher Report and CBS Sports. And, of course, I am living and breathing (dance) music all over the world with ULTRA and MTV. See, I even bring the high top wedge sneakers to the studio.
